My .GIF: BKA Colorflash: An Homage to Stanley Kubrick's 2001 A Space Odyssey, by Ben Adams
This is a simple .gif I did, but I think it works as a slightly organized chaos. What I like about it is that it is a symphony of color that is never always the same, but the meaning is never lost. What the meaning is though, that's up to the viewer.

I like how organic the patchwork of shapes are, seeming to be hand-drawn in how areas were selected. The interchange of colors is exciting, especially as a way to bring to life an otherwise everyday image. It's interesting how the effect works around more decisive areas, like the frames of your glass, and it makes me wonder if a handful of more clean cut lines mixed in with the more random ones would be nice to include (such as the edge of the computer screen or the shape of your mask). Nice experiments here, it looks like they opened up some doors for you.
