This course blog is where we communicate as a group, share responses to assignments, and post our work. You are required to publish posts according to assignments found on Moodle, and are encouraged to share images, make comments, and pose public questions throughout the semester.
So many faces! One suggestion I have is to go further. There is a feeling of trying to make an overwhelming, random, and absurd type of poster (and movie), however it doesn't go quite far enough. Especially a movie poster with such a bold title or slogan as "Welcome to the Internet" would need to be more chaotic, dark-web-ish, social media-ish, outlandish, offensive, and graphically complicated to do justice to such a message. That said, it is an eye-catching and adventurous start to such a design. The problem with faces is that, since we all have one and we are drawn to them, we tend to count them and identify them. What you have here is a non-diverse grouping of five white-ish male faces (plus a...rat?), which could not possibly live up the the maddening insanity of the Internet Age, particularly in the wake of COVID. I'm pushing on this here because I love the challenge of it and I think your poster is exciting—just scratching the surface of what could be a more completely fleshed out concept, and approach to the assignment. That said, I hope you keep scratching, this is a fun image!
