Wow, this is wild. I never really thought about how popular the idea of a pig chef is (used in lots of restaurants and ads) until I saw this wild spin-off. If it were a whole movie, I would hope for lots of subtle references to Porky Pig and pretty much every BBQ restaurant in the state of Texas. I think this poster does a lot of things well. The strange pixillations that happen (which are a tip off to quality incongruities between image sources) are not too distracting in such a grungy, busy image as this one—in fact they might enhance the style somewhat. I would like to see little details, like the junction point between the multiple arms and shoulder or shadowing on the bugs, be cleaned up, blended, or integrated, but the overall feeling really works. Even the text, so standout and garish in its contrast with the other colors, seems to successfully support the tone of the poster, and the movie it's selling. Cool pants. Fun project!
