There is a lot missing here! Look closely at every scene, every actor, every cut, and decipher its intentions in targeting a specific demographic. Then, make your argument about target audience clear in order to support your argument though your editing choices in your video. Is there a particular socio-economic demographic that the ad is targeting? Sometimes the easiest way to decipher target audience is to decide who is NOT being targeted. Are rich people being targeted, for instance? What types of homes/kitchens are being depicted? Are the adults mostly moms, or dads too? Does the rolling can take us on a tour of all of the different types of people that would appreciate an easy dinner, and might the target audience see themselves in one or more of the families depicted? How does the ad sound? Is it bubbly and fun? dark and mysterious? Like an action sequence in a film, or a sappy drama? Identifying the formal choices will help to get you closer to the target.
